What a morning. First off, how nice that the sun is out giving just the perfect touch of warmth. Clear blue sky. How joyful to step out of our sweet house in the medieval center of Bruges, for another day of exploring. Dan, who works east coast hours, spends until 2:00 in the afternoon with us. So this morning we put Julia in the bob stroller and Sara declared "I want to walk". Okay! She lead the way running down the cobblestone sidewalk as fast as her legs could carry her.
Walking here is a feast for the eyes. This place is much like it was in 1600s when it was an important city in Europe. Grand buildings. Graceful canals, complete with real swans paddling around. The four of us easily spent the morning walking on the curvy streets, along with people who live here, tourists, and fallen leaves. Tons of fun.
Sara just woke up from her nap, so I gotta run.
